Mari, Molly and I decided to take a little mini-road trip on Friday, taking Mari to visit her first foreign state, visiting Grandma & Granpa T over in ‘Sconnie land. Within about 15 minutes of arriving, Mari was taking care of some tummy time on a colorful blanket that Grandma had been waiting for some time to break out.
But Mari isn’t a big fan of tummy time when she’s awake. So she decided to do something about it. She brought her legs up, started doing some pushing, and after a few false starts, she rolled herself right over. Then, just to show off, she did it again about 10 minutes later.
So far, we haven’t been able to duplicate it at home–but it’s pretty clear she’s trying.
